WHO AM I EXACTLY AS A READER

Hi, my name is Cornelius Kittrell a student at Ms. 51 and a intense reader. I've always accepted each and every genre into my reading style because of the different varieties that comes with each book. However, I've always had a love for mystery and fantasy books, for they can trigger one's imagination on like a light bulb. I analyze, research and expand the little things within my books into bigger ones, giving me time to think on the specific subject and read more. However, I do not spend all of my time thinking intently and vigorously on my books. Sometimes I read books for the pure enjoyment and escape from reality like any other type of reader would.

MY SUMMER READING

This wonderful summer, sadly I did not make enough time to focus on a majority of other books. However, I was able to feed my mind with the characters and words that can escape from a book. I read The Scorch Trials by James Dashner for the second time. I read it again because I had forgotten almost the whole book, and I did not want the memory of the book become void in my mind. I love The Maze Runner series because of the in depth character detail, yet everything else hidden in the book, makes you want to read more. I'm not going to spoil anything for those who have not finished or just started reading the series, but all I can say is the constant mystery, action and the writing is something to truly enjoy.

CONCLUDE

Being a writer and reader like many of my peers, these topics will always show up in my daily life. I love reading and writing and will always have a place to stay with me my entire life.
